\n\tApplications are underway for the\u00a0Raise the Bar Academy,<\/a>\u00a0a free training program<\/strong>\u00a0for the training and professional development of\u00a0waiters, baristas and bartenders<\/strong>. Coca-Cola HBC Croatia experts will be joined as lecturers at the academy by top experts in areas like\u00a0mixology and spirits, wine, coffee, beer and bar management<\/strong>. Among them are\u00a0Andrej \u010capka<\/strong>, director and owner of Zmajska pivovara,\u00a0Ivan Jug<\/strong>, Croatian sommelier champion, co-owner and manager of the restaurant Noel, and\u00a0Andrea Klemen\u010di\u0107<\/strong>, hotel manager in the gastronomy and restaurant departments.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\t\n\t\t\t

\n\t\u201eWith all the challenges the hospitality and tourism sector has faced over the past year and a half, the lack of a quality and trained workforce has become even more pronounced. Since 2019, our free training program has been successfully completed by 26 waiters, baristas and bartenders and we are proud that with the fourth academy cycle Coca-Cola HBC Croatia will continue to contribute to solving this long-standing problem of the Croatian Horeca sector,<\/em>\u201d said\u00a0Filip Verbanac<\/strong>, Premium Spirits, Coffee and HoReCa Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Croatia and the creator of the Raise the Bar project.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\t\n\t\t\t

\n\tCandidates with\u00a0at least one year of work experience<\/strong>\u00a0in hospitality and tourism can apply to participate in Coca-Cola HBC Croatia\u2019s training program,\u00a0regardless of their previous training and work status<\/strong>. All those interested in the Raise the Bar Academy are required to introduce themselves with a short motivational video and to complete the application form on the website\u00a0https:\/\/raisethebar.hr\/akademija\/\u00a0<\/a>.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\t\n\t\t\t

\n\tApplications are open until September 15<\/strong>, after which a team of Coca-Cola experts and members of the Raise the Bar team will assess candidates and select those who will be shortlisted. This will be followed by an interview with the candidates, and as part of the theoretical and practical training, the selected participants will learn from top experts brought together by the Raise the Bar project about the latest techniques and trends in hospitality\u00a0from October 18 to December 10<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\t\n\t\t\t
