The winner will win EUR 10,000 and a trip to Rome for the Roma Bar Show 2025, as well as the title of the best bartender in the region.

Entries to the competition

You can enter the competition until Monday, March 3, 2025 at 11:59 pm by filling out the form available at the link, and anyone with a minimum of one year of work experience in the hospitality industry who has an active working status in the Republic of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina or Slovenia and speaks English, can apply.

In addition to filling out the application form, it is necessary to design and send the cocktail recipe and your own photo with the bottle and cocktail as well as the photo of the cocktail itself. The expert jury will recreate the submitted cocktails and will select up to 20 bartenders who will compete at the Raise the Bar Competition in Lauba.

Competition

The first round of the competition, in which the finalists will be selected, will be held on Thursday 27 March in Lauba. Bartenders will try their hand at challenges designed to demonstrate a set of knowledge and skills crucial to being a top bartender: teamwork, creativity, navigating a short time frame, making classic cocktails, accurate pouring, blind tasting, and presentation skills.

The two best competitors who, according to the expert jury, completed the challenges and showed the highest level of expertise will enter the superfinals, which will be held on Friday, March 28. Detailed information on the requirements for participation in the Raise the Bar Competition can be found in the Terms and Conditions of the Competition.
