Certificates Awarded to Successful Attendees of Coca-Cola’s Raise the Bar Academy

9. March 2020.

Within the context of the official presentation of the Gault & Millau Guide for Croatia for 2020, which took place at the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb on March 3, the first generation of Coca-Cola’s Raise the Bar Academy was presented with well-deserved certificates.

Eleven attendees received a certificate by Coca-Cola HBC Croatia and the renowned European Bartender School, a partner of the program, whereby the competitiveness of the young attendees on the labour market is increased on one hand, while making it easier for employers to find quality employees on the other hand since the certificate vouches for the extensive know-how and skills of future employees. The certificates were presented by Premium Spirits & HoReCa manager for BU Adria Ivica Skočić, Raise the Bar Project Manager Filip Verbanac and the Head of the Raise the Bar Academy and brand ambassador Kruno Rozić. Each first generation attendee also received on this occasion a uniform bearing the attendee’s name.

The value of this program is attested by the fact that all academy attendees got the job they wanted right after completing the training, and in the coming five years the academy will provide more than 250 highly qualified people for work in the hospitality and tourism industries.

Applications for the third training cycle are open until September 25, 2020 and all interested candidates with at least one year of work experience in the hospitality industry can apply by completing the application form on the project’s website.
